The Brazil Steel Institute is the body that brings together the country’s steelmakers Founded on May 31, 1963, the Brazil Steel Institute (former Brazilian Steel Institute – Instituto Brasileiro de Siderurgia – IBS), aims to bring together and represent Brazilian companies producing steel, defend their interests and promote its development.
