Case of the Aço Cearense Group is presented at an online conference on remote business acceleration

Thursday September 24th, 2020

The automation actions of the Aço Cearense Group were presented at the Digital InnovationConference online meeting by the Group’s vice president of operations, Ian Corrêa. The event, last Monday (21st), counted on the participation of businessmen and managers in the area and discussed the theme “The role of automation in accelerating the resumption of business”.

The new coronavirus pandemic accelerated projects and processes in the area, as the social constraint required that new forms of service be created, in a short period of time, so that companies could serve customers and suppliers, keeping their activities running smoothly.

According to Ian Corrêa, when the world was taken by surprise by the pandemic, the Aço Cearense Group, as well as several companies, had to adjust quickly to the new scenario, adapting face-to-face projects to digital and leveraging the company’s automation.

“During this period of pandemic, we quickly thought of three important pillars for us: first, the safety and health of our employees; then efficiency, how to keep companies running; and then the conscious and safe resumption.

Thus, with the contribution of all who form the Group and the collaboration of partners, we were able to adapt quickly and continue all projects and actions ”, said the manager.

In addition to Ian Corrêa, they also participated in the presentation Fabrício Diógenes, from Unimed Fortaleza; Luciano Bortoluzzi, from J. Macedo; and Cláudio Fontes, from Solar BR-CE. According to André Navarrete, CEO of OptimizeGroup and director / organizer of the Digital InnovationConference, this pandemic period leaves several lessons learned, but the most important of them was that companies were not stuck in paradigms.

“We have to adapt and use human and technological resources to continue, regardless of the adverse situations that may happen.

For this reason, we discussed this topic with four great executives from large companies, who work in different segments and thus had complementary contributions to the construction of great content ”, said.
